Promise Fund’s mission is to increase survivorship from breast and cervical cancer by providing guided support and access to screenings, as well as early detection, treatment, and beyond. Our model gives every woman the opportunity to attain health care, regardless of who she is, where she lives, or her level of income.
That’s our promise.
Florida ranks last in the U.S. for the number of women under 65 who have insurance, magnifying their vulnerability to death from cancer due to delayed diagnosis and treatment.
Each year an estimated 1,400 of our neighbors in Palm Beach County are confronted with a breast cancer diagnosis and another 50 learn they have cervical cancer.
Nearly one of out of every three women diagnosed are late stage. Late stage cancers are more difficult to treat. When cancers are identified early there are more treatment options and a higher survival rate.

The Promise Fund is a non-profit organization that seeks to reduce and prevent the progression of breast and cervical cancer and save lives through early detection by utilizing the following strategies:
Patient Navigation
Community Awareness
Partnerships
Policy Changes
Using 40+ years of experience building the world’s most renowned breast cancer organization, Susan G. Komen, Nancy is using her deep and personal understanding of the cause to fulfill the promise she made to her sister, Suzy, in 1980 when she was fighting breast cancer that ultimately took her life at the young age of 36.
